Crear is a very private, exclusive use coastal wedding venue with its own sandy beach and accommodation on site. The big sell is the dramatic location on the west coast of Scotland with uninterrupted views to the isles of Islay, Jura & Gigha and the lighthouses of Rathlin island. They have it all thought out here – all of the spaces are purposely designed to fit your wedding needs. Weddings were clearly not an after thought, they were the beginning thought. There’s also a LOT of information on the website which immediately reassures and makes one feel that they know what they are talking about. It seems the hard parts are done, you just have to rock up with your own personality and style to make it your own. I love that they immediately call it affordable luxury – explaining that a wedding at Crear won’t cost the earth, and giving example pricing on the website. It’s quite refreshing for a wedding venue to be cost conscious these days. Which means you can blow the rest of the budget on frivolous extras,,,, !! Woooo. You and your wedding guests would all stay on site or very close – at Crear house and the neighbouring cottages, guest houses & hotels – so Crear becomes your home for up to three days & nights. In the centre of Crear house, the main studio is larger than a tennis court - the perfect party venue and blank canvas. It is lit by a continuous glass wall - with that view!! And if the view is foggy or dull, you still stay cosy warm with underfloor heating for maximum comfort while you watch the enormous sky roll by. You can hold up to 100 people for a seated meal.
