I do love an old building with a slick new modernist interior, it’s so fresh and up to date. This stylish simple hotel ticks a lot of boxes and would be more than satisfactory for a night or two whilst visiting the old and new sites of Dundee.

This is my local, so I can whole-heartedly recommend it to you, having been many times and eaten, or shared most of the dishes from the menu. It’s an elegant bistro/bar in the west end of Aberdeen. LOVE!

Not really a shop, more of a full scale Scottish shopping experience, with several clothes, food and merchandise halls. Definitely worth planning a half day in here.

Cute doggy mad coffee shop in Aberdeen's west end. The food and coffee is great. They do freak shakes and salads and there are some nice cookery books to read while you wait. Happy, joyful little place.
