Quite comforting to know that your holiday home is owned and was lovingly decorated by an established and talented interior designer huh! Not to mention the fact that everything is brand spanking new! (Nov 2018) I’m not going to make any apologies for the fact that I simply LOVE that Chic Scotland showcases all the new, gorgeous accommodations first (currently sporting a huge grin). And now people are starting to come to me, rather than me finding them (now doing an actual victory dance). I also make no apologies that Chic Scotland ONLY features stylish places – locations where the interiors have been lovingly put together with care, and of course by someone with great taste. Pat Renson, the owner of Auchterarder 30 has taste in abundance. She just happens to own a personalised design service, creating luxurious and liveable spaces for clients across the UK and overseas. And her credentials stack up – she worked alongside the late, great Dame Anita Roddick in the early 80s, who became her mentor. Pat bought this property with the view of creating a luxury holiday rental where attention to detail was key. She holds a significant amount of experience in retail, design and providing customer satisfaction. Auchterarder 30 happily is a combination of all three. Much of the interiors and products provided with the property have been locally sourced – down to the sumptuous fabrics from Scottish designer Iona Crawford which I absolutely adore. Step into Auchterarder 30 and you’ll find yourself in a very stylish living space with everything you need to kick back and relax. Snuggle up on the beautiful sofa, pop a log on the wood burning stove, listen to your favourite tunes on the Sonos speaker, or maybe catch a movie on the Smart TV. The garden's another perfect spot to relax; under the pergola on the comfy sofa. And, when the sun drops away, the festoon lights and the fire pit make this space just lovely in the evening. For the ultimate relaxation therapy, be sure to make time to have a soak in hugely indulgent bath tub in the bedroom. WiFi is of course available when you need to be switched on. A welcome pack consisting of free-range eggs, milk, tea, coffee, bakery goods and a bottle of bubbly are provided with the rental. Auchterarder, close to Gleneagles is a stunning area, and there is so much for both relaxation and adventure seekers alike. Perthshire really is THE place to go at the moment, and the village of Auchterarder itself is picture postcard pretty. It really is bringing me immense joy to showcase this little gem of a property - I do hope you will pay it a visit. Think of how fabulous your holiday photos will look – so Instagrammable. You can enquire directly through the email link on your right. Or click through to their website for live availability. This is a one bed property, but the downstairs living room has a sofa bed which must be requested on booking.
