In my humble opinion, restaurants should mostly be like this place. Busy, cosy, dark with candles and where it takes you ages to choose what you’re having because everything sounds sooo good. Listen to the sound of this example menu and if it doesn’t make you salivate or feel a little hungry… then you shouldn’t even be on this site!!!!! - Beef goulash with sour cream and dumplings Beetroot falafel with crispy capers and red pepper aioli Polenta and mushroom cakes, kale, capers, olives and tomato Cumberland sausage, chorizo, smoked bacon, mixed bean and lentil stew Pan seared mackerel fillet, watercress, orange and fennel salad, harissa dressing, toasted almonds Smoked gammon, Savoy cabbage, apples and cranberries with cider and coarse grain mustard cream Oh man, is it lunch time yet? Oh dear, it’s only 9.34am….. doh!
- They also have a small shepherd's hut outside which can be hired for private dining.
Superb dining experience!
Cafe 52 is a hidden gem down at the Green in Aberdeen. It has an excellent buzzy vibe, locally sourced ingredients (some home grown) and friendly professional service. There are always interesting and extremely tasty dishes on the menu (including plenty of vegetarian options). I thoroughly recommend dining here either as a couple, group or a family.
