Crinan Ferry Experience, Crinan House
Crinan House is a 280 year old historically listed building which lies at the end of a rocky peninsula between the sea at Loch Crinan and the estuary of the River Add. There is NOTHING separating you from a long stretch of sandy beach. It is sooo beautiful. It is furnished with lovely antiques, has a crackling log fire and provides a very cosy holiday accommodation in tranquil surroundings. Just sitting in the spacious and enclosed garden gives you one of the most spectacular views you could ever hope to wish for in western Scotland. When the tide is out, it is possible to while away the hours beach combing along the miles of sand, looking out towards the isles of Jura, Scarba and Mull, and splashing through shallow pools, which reflect the amber colours of the setting sun. A perfect place to also spend a cosy week during the long winter months, walking along the sandy beach, relaxing in front of a crackling open fire, reading a book, watching a movie and sipping a wee dram. The ideal place to enjoy Christmas and Hogmanay. A fantastic spot to celebrate a special occasion, spend your Honeymoon, or propose to your loved one. Two dogs welcome. Sleeps 6. Heaven.
