Culloden House

About

This handsome Inverness hotel stands in 40 acres of lush woodland. At the time of the Jacobite uprising in 1745-46, Bonnie Prince Charlie used Culloden House as his lodging and battle headquarters prior to that fateful battle on Culloden Moor. Undoubtedly the greatest asset here is the staff. Here, Highland hospitality has been elevated to its highest art form without being "stuffy" nor too "proper" or reserved. Worthy of its place as chic because it's such a genuinely, lovely experience to stay here, and actually very reasonably priced for what you get. Don't be put off by the use of tartan and florals.. I'm happy to say it all works beautifully well in this context.
