Killiehuntly Farmhouse and Cottage
Congratulations on opening this listing, you've just stumbled upon one of my MOST favourite places in Scotland and the whole wide world. My original purpose of starting Chic Scotland was so that people could easily find beautiful places to stay and eat, which were not in the major cities, but located in the wild, natural parts of Scotland. I wanted to showcase new and interesting venues which had a high creative and design value away from the usual chintz you might find on the tartan tourist trail. Well... Killiehuntly Farmhouse and Cottage embodies the essence of this original agenda. With it's Scandi Scot decor, luxurious simplicity, exceptional quality and design, perfect farm to table food and stunning remote location - it's that dreamy place we've all been searching for. Mixing Scandinavian simplicity and Scottish traditional craftsmanship is such a hot trend right now, there are a lot of places doing it - but Killiehuntly is THE best example i've seen so far. Be careful going here because you will NOT want to leave. Live out your highland dreams in this beautiful home from home. Tips - Don't stay less than 3 nights. Remember it's a shared house with only 4 bedrooms so you may be sharing a bathroom. But it's the shared nature of the house that makes it fun, homely, exclusive and personal.
