Loch Lomond Arms Hotel
The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel is a stylish and cheerful Inn which has been tastefully and thoughtfully put together, resulting in a ‘Chic Scotland Standard’ place to rest your head for a night or two whilst enjoying everything that Loch Lomond has to offer. Located in the picturesque village of Luss, within the breathtaking Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, you can enjoy freshly prepared local fare from the talented chef, David Hetherington - dining is informal but seriously good. The Loch Lomond Arms Hotel dates back to the 17th Century when it welcomed travellers as a Coaching Inn. The interiors have been sympathetically updated by Serena Williams-Ellis to reflect the history and location in Loch Lomond, whilst offering all modern comforts. Named after the Scottish clans, each bedroom is unique and brings together Scottish woollen blankets with plump feather-filled pillows, antique furniture and vintage prints. There are first floor and under-the-eves bedrooms in the main house, and ground floor rooms in their separate coach house. In addition, there are cottages on the banks of Luss Water, which are a short walk from the pub. The cottages have ground floor and first floor bedrooms. All have access to gardens, and some have private terraces. Some of the cottages are pet-friendly. At the 14th annual Scottish Hotel Awards, the Inn was named Events Hotel of the Year 2017. This reflects their events capabilities – they can do more than rustle up an average wedding or corporate event – it is a particular skill. In fact, this winning country pub seems to have many skills, and the awards and accolades to back that up. It’s a progressive and ambitious place, whilst keeping the quality of the hospitality on offer perfectly intact.
- Pets welcome.
