Loch Melfort Hotel
Loch Melfort is a unique hotel set in 17 acres of gardens and beach on the romantic coast of Argyll, in the Scottish Highlands. Imagine this…. your hotel room has a sea view, you have direct access to the beach, and world-class gardens, there’s a roaring log fire and deep sofas to sink into. It would be so easy to come here and completely unravel all of your stress amongst the spectacular coastal scenery. Almost like you're visiting a retreat of some kind. The Head Chef at Loch Melfort is Roger Brown, who has developed dishes that showcase some of the finest seasonal produce the West Coast of Scotland has to offer - with a keen eye on the provenance of everything that passes through the kitchen. Choose from one of the 10 main house bedrooms (including 2 luxury suites), or the 20 sea view rooms in the annexe. I like that they also have 10 accessible ground floor rooms and some of the rooms accept well behaved dogs. I love the sound of the special Whisky Package and Wildlife Packages that they’ve put together. Hogmanay too would be a fun time to visit.
